SEVERE side effects occur when using Fioricet with Codeine: Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue); confusion; fainting; fast heartbeat; mental or mood changes; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; ringing in the ears; seizures; severe drowsiness; severe or persistent vomiting; shortness of breath; slow or shallow breathing; symptoms of liver problems (eg, yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, pale stools, loss of appetite, severe or persistent nausea or stomach pain).
